Years in wellness
More than two decades of practice, learning and sharing natural approaches to wellbeing.
For more than 27 years, I have brought wellness, ritual and ancient wisdom into a deeply personal practice. Now I invite you to meet me in Hopkins – for a private session, a sunrise ritual or one of my small-group retreats. Each experience begins with a conversation and takes shape around you.
I was five years old, turning the pages of my grandmother’s calendars and feeling that something was missing.
I wanted every day to have its own image and symbol, offering a clue to what it was a good day for – not good or bad, but what it was especially suited to. I could not have explained why. I only knew that time felt more alive than the little squares on a page could show.
About twenty years later, I found the Tzolk’in. I remember the recognition: this is what I was looking for. I have studied the Maya sacred calendar for 23 years, and Maya traditional medicine and spirituality for 17. What began as a child’s question became the thread running through my life.
For more than 27 years, I have worked in wellness. I have trained and become certified in more than 20 fields, bringing bodywork, personal guidance, rituals and ancient wisdom into a holistic BLINKITA practice. I am also a teacher, sharing massage and other natural techniques with students.
I understand my path as part of an unbroken healing lineage carried by teachers and shamans from Belize, Guatemala and Mexico, through Chile and Peru to the Amazon. I carry what I have learned with gratitude and respect for the people and living traditions behind it. BLINKITA is the way I bring these influences together for the person in front of me – with care for the distinct roots each one comes from.

Some encounters arrive just as a long-held wish begins to find its way into the world.
While writing my first book in Slovenian, Maya Tzolkin 2012, The Universal Book of Life, I included a message from Tata Pedro Cruz. As I wrote, I began to hope that one day I might meet the Maya elder whose words had become part of my book.
Ten months later, after eight years of studying, researching and observing the Tzolk’in, I found a 20-day journey through Guatemala with Tata Pedro Cruz. The timing was remarkable: I had just bought my flights to Belize and arranged further training in Maya Abdominal Massage and Maya spiritual healing with Dr. Rosita Arvigo. I chose to extend my study leave and continue on to Guatemala. I was the only participant to make the journey, and felt deeply grateful it had not been cancelled.
During our time together, I shared my studies, observations and understanding of the Tzolk’in with Tata Pedro. Perhaps, in the exchange between us, he heard a call to place 260 tzite seeds for Tzolk’in divination in my hands. I received them with humility, sensing the responsibility carried by such a gift.
Through this journey and the time we shared, Tata Pedro Cruz initiated me as Saq I’x – the White Jaguar, Keeper of Time. I hold that name as a responsibility: to keep listening, to share what I have learned with care, and to help others make room for their own relationship with time.
This is not a title I use to stand above anyone. It is a moment in my life that continues to ask something of me.
In 1999, I chose to change more than my habits. I changed the identity I was living from.
I lost 51 kilograms naturally, without pills or diets, and have maintained that change for 26 years. I stopped seeing myself as someone forever fighting her body and began learning to care for it, trust it and live differently.
Some people travel to India in search of enlightenment. I found a different kind of awakening through daily visits to the forest. In that quiet, I listened, observed and kept searching for what could make change last.
My search reached back to childhood. After being bullied at school and living with low self-esteem, anxiety and depression, I did not want anyone else to go through the same pain. Even as a child, I sensed that obesity could one day become the world’s number one health challenge. I set out to find a universal key, something that might help others as well as myself.
That search became Magickal Vitality. I share my experience as proof of possibility, not a promise of identical results. If lasting transformation became possible for me, I believe it can be possible for anyone, each in their own way.
Meet me in person at Seiri del Mar in Hopkins, Belize. Come for a private wellness session, one of my retreats or a deeper journey – and let us begin with a conversation.
